JEROME SMITH, DDS

Dr. Smith is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana and did his undergraduate studies at the University of Southwestern Louisiana. He graduated from L.S.U. School of Dentistry in 1980 is a General Dentist with a practice which is Limited to Implant Dentistry. He works with over 80 dentists throughout the state of Louisiana and beyond to provide multifaceted treatment utilizing several implant delivery systems for implant reconstruction from single tooth replacement to full rehabilitation. Much of his care is focused on treatment solutions for edentulous patients from the use of mini implants and overdentures to more sophisticated care for those that desire or require more conventional higher level solutions. He has conducted numerous lectures and published several articles on various subjects in Dental Implantology and Digital Photography and Case Presentation. He is an adjunct Clinical Professor in the Dept. of General Dentistry at LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans and is also a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists . In addition, he is a member of numerous organizations in dentistry. Dr. Smith was on the cover of the very first “Farran Report” which later become “DentalTown Magazine” and has been active on the Message Boards since the inception of DentalTown. He is married to Germaine and has two daughters, Katheryne (17) and Caroline (16).
